The f<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51);\">ormer Nambale Member of Parliament\u00a0had filed the petition at the Busia High Court over what he termed as election irregularities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51);\">\u201cI have taken necessary legal action as prescribed by the law. I was not satisfied with the outcome of an election, I have enough evidence to prove in court that my competitor used unfair means to win the election,\u201d stated Bunyasi when defending his petition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/0da046607727474d904126ebbc661546\"\/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(33, 37, 41);\">This was after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) announced Otuoma of ODM party as the winner on August 12 after he reportedly garnered 164, 478 votes against Bunyasi of ANC who finished second with 92,144 votes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the petition, Bunyasi had listed<span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51);\"> the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Governor Otuoma and his deputy Arthur Odera as respondents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/a3ecfda0548e48e19db2d075c0cf45a3\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Already, Otuoma has announced his intentions to dump Raila Odinga and work with President William Ruto\u2019s Kenya Kwanza government, saying it is for the good of his Siaya people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI appeal to you that we join forces and work with government together so that we also enjoy the fruits of our national government,\u201d stated Otuoma recently<\/p>\n<p>Content created and supplied by: NRMedia (via  Opera<br \/>News )<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p class=\"copyright hide\">\n<span class=\"content\">    ,  .   ,     .
