The Black Stars of Ghana failed to reach the round sixteen of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.<\/p>\n

The Black Stars managed to earn just three points from their three group H games of the World Cup in Qatar.<\/p>\n

Ghana lost their opening group game against former European champions Portugal by 3-2 before returning better for the second game.<\/p>\n

Their second game against South Korea ended on a good note after they managed to beat the Asians by 3-2 to give Ghanaians a glimmer of hope.<\/p>\n

Their third game was however a bad result after they lost 2-0.<\/p>\n

One of the players whose exclusion from the Black Stars squad is winger, Joseph Paintsil.<\/p>\n

The Genk winger says he was not given any reason for his exclusion from the Black Stars squad.<\/p>\n

“His [Otto Addo’s] decision was unfair. He gave me no valid reason to explain my absence. I told him the same thing during a phone conversation,\u201d Paintsil told Belang van Limburg\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe told me that there were players ahead of me in the hierarchy. Among them, there were guys who, like me, play in the Jupiler Pro League.\u201d Joseph Paintsil said.<\/p>\n
