Have you ever imagined that there could be any country without a single church in the country? Considering the popularity of Christianity<\/strong> and the mass number of its member. As one of the largest religions in the world with so many Christianity<\/strong> from all over would never have wondered whether there could be a place on earth where there is no church because it just doesn’t feel right. In this article, I will tell you about this country and what they do in terms of worship or who they worship in general.<\/p>\n The truth is that we have a country in western Asia where no single church exists. Do Christians exist in the country? The correct answer is yes. Christians are allowed in the country but only to work and no other co-curricular activities like practicing religion. Yes, there is and the country is Saudi Arabia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Saudi Arabia<\/strong> is considered the largest state in Western Asia and the second largest amongst all Arab countries after Algeria with a geographical area covering approximately two thousand one hundred fifty thousand km per square. The country being an Islamic <\/strong>country have its beliefs in Prophet Mohammed as Christians have their beliefs in Jesus Chris of Nazareth. They have Mecca as their place of worship and Muslims do go there from different countries to worship once a year during Hajj<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n The date of Hajj<\/strong> is determined by the Islamic calendar which is based on the lunar year. Every year the events of Hajj<\/strong> take place in 10 days starting on the 1st and ending on the 10th or the 12th and last month of the Islamic calendar. Mecca is the holiest of places in the country as it is the birthplace of the Prophet Mohammed<\/strong> and the Islamic faith itself. For clarification purposes, it’s not that there are no Christians in the country.\u00a0<\/p>\n There are Christians in the country with over 1 million Roman Catholic <\/strong>members which means that they don’t discriminate. This indicates that Christians are very welcome but it must be for work purposes and not faith. This means Christians living in the country are only allowed to worship their God in the comfort of their homes. When the British disapprove of the mega-mosque<\/strong> in London the British Muslims were pissed. The mega-mosque is believed to be so huge that it will dwarf many of Britain’s Christian Cathedrals.\u00a0<\/p>\n I hope one day things will change and churches will be erected in Saudi Arabia. This is because all other Christian-dominated countries allow Muslims to worship Allah in mosques. So the only country without a single Church in the world is Saudi Arabia.
