During his interview on VOP, Oseni discussed the lessons from Doyin Okupe\u2019s ordeal and the need for financial accountability from politicians.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the topic, Oseni said, \u201cIn a sensible country, a politician\u2019s source of wealth should not be a big deal.\u201d I wonder if you can remember the question that put me in enemy territory. I only asked a question in January regarding how a politician made his money. This is how I became people\u2019s enemies. This should not be a big deal as it is public accountability. Nobody was begged to run for president, and those running for the office must embrace open scrutiny.<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cIf I decide to run for president someday (which I do not plan to do), I will make my health details and fitness records publicly available.\u201d I owe it to those who I want to lead. However, I do not know why people give contradictory and confusing answers when you question how they made their money.
