Osodeke appealed to Nigerians on Plus TV while discussing the outcome of ASUU\u2019s strike.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(37, 37, 37);\">Addressing the topic, Emmanuel Osodeke said, \u201cNothing has happened since we called off the ASUU strike.\u201d There have been no meetings, and the negotiation committee that was set up by the government has been dismantled.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(37, 37, 37);\">He continued, \u201cYou may recall that the speaker of the national assembly, <\/span>Gbajabiamila, <span style=\"color: rgb(37, 37, 37);\">met with us and indicated that they have made some agreements.\u201d This was our basis for calling off the strike. Nigerians should urge them to fulfill their promises. The failure to fulfill promises often leads to strikes. They should pay the backlog of salaries, finish the negotiations, pay academic allowances, and adopt UTAS. These are our agreements, but they have abandoned everything today.
