NDC Chairman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\">\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"522\" class=\"entry-thumb\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-201-696x522.png\"   alt=\"\" title=\"Asiedu Nketia\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">NDC National Chairman<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>The newly elected national executives of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have assured the party folks to work to regain power in 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to them, winning the 2024 polls for the party is non-negotiable.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, made this known in his victory speech.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/22191989129,1002554\/MGL\/mgl_ado_atunwa_300x250 --><\/p>\n<p>Mr Nketia, who is the immediate-past General Secretary, said he and his executives are prepared to sacrifice everything for the collective good of the party.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to him, that is the onerous task the delegates have entrusted into their hands.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"843\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-206.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2197047\"  \/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cYou the delegates of our party have given us the mandate to secure the second independence of Ghana.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know the path will not be smooth but we will stand up to the challenge and we are prepared to sacrifice everything and I mean everything including our lives to make sure this country is delivered,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The party organised its 10th National Delegates Congress\u2019 to elect its new executives on Saturday, December 17.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Delegates of the party converged at the Accra Sports Stadium for the exercise.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Some 9,200 delegates from the 276 constituencies took part in the exercise.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the contest, Mr Nketia won the ultimate position of National Chairman.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>            <!--  [embed]https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=videoseries[\/embed]<!--\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
