It&#8217;s interesting that they took home top honours in the Mauritania tournament for best player and best goalkeeper.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/d225c2875ac74499a7fd2932cd5ff07d\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Danlad Ibrahim were the only local players that had slots in Ghana&#8217;s participation in the World Cup in Qatar, even though both did not feature in a game for Ghana at the World Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Both were spotted together and in the same hotel room during the World Cup in Qatar and all residential camps for different national team call-ups, which added to their closeness throughout national duties.
