{"id":1266321,"date":"2022-12-16T23:08:18","date_gmt":"2022-12-16T23:08:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/12\/16\/kgl-partners-ala-for-responsible-gaming\/"},"modified":"2022-12-16T23:08:18","modified_gmt":"2022-12-16T23:08:18","slug":"kgl-partners-ala-for-responsible-gaming","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/12\/16\/kgl-partners-ala-for-responsible-gaming\/","title":{"rendered":"KGL Partners ALA For Responsible Gaming"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong> Dignitaries after the conference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The KGL Group, a wholly owned Ghanaian group of companies with interests in technology innovation, fintech, logistics, property development, gaming and commerce has partnered the African Lottery Association (ALA) for responsible gaming.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership deal came to light after the just ended KGL sponsored African Lottery Association Conference, held in Accra from December 7 to 10, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the conference on the theme \u201cResponsible Gaming\u201d, Alex Dadey, Executive Chairman of the KGL Group, who also serves as Board Chairman of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, highlighted the need for effective collaboration among partner African countries as a key driver of development.<\/p>\n<p>He stated, \u201cLadies and Gentlemen, effective collaboration among partner members of ALA will help enhance idea sharing in all aspects of our lottery operations. This will prove beneficial, not only in implementing responsible gaming practices, but in achieving our collective developmental goals as African nations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He used the growth trajectory of the KGL Group as a clear example of what can be achieved with effective collaboration between public and private sector organisations.<\/p>\n<p>He stated, \u201cLadies and Gentlemen, permit me to use the growth trajectory of the KGL Group in the digitalisation of the lottery sector as evidence of the significant progress the NLA has made. KGL Group, through its subsidiary, KGL Technology Limited, is currently the largest partner to the National Lottery Authority, having played a significant role in turning around the fortunes of the Authority through digitalisation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCorporate responsibility is a bedrock of the KGL Group\u2019s operations. The KGL Foundation reflects the commitment of the Group to providing sustainable social intervention programmes in the fields of health and sports, entrepreneurship and youth empowerment, culture and arts in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKGL Foundation\u2019s footprint in Ghana\u2019s communities is well documented. Led by CEO Elliot Dadey, the foundation has been instrumental in driving the needed change under their areas of operations,\u201d he disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>The refurbishment of the A.A. Dadey Memorial Hall located in Okuapeman Senior High School as well as the University of Ghana\u2019s Skill Up Bootcamp have all been beneficiaries of the KGL Foundation\u2019s relentless drive to create lasting impact.<\/p>\n<p>KGL Technology Limited having successfully digitalised lottery in Ghana, has since expanded its operations into the Nigerian and Ivory Coast markets, in its goal of digitalising lottery across the African landscape. Mr. Alex Dadey lauded the Director Generals of Nigeria and Ivory Coast, Mr. Lanre Gbajabiamila and Mr. Dramane Coulibaly for being gracious hosts, and predicted a bright future for the KGL Group of Companies.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the farewell dinner hosted by the KGL Group for the ALA membership, Mr. Sammi Awuku thanked the KGL Group for being gracious hosts.
