{"id":1265684,"date":"2022-12-15T18:49:37","date_gmt":"2022-12-15T18:49:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/12\/15\/stephen-twitch-boss-cause-of-death-revealed-following-autopsy\/"},"modified":"2022-12-15T18:49:37","modified_gmt":"2022-12-15T18:49:37","slug":"stephen-twitch-boss-cause-of-death-revealed-following-autopsy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/12\/15\/stephen-twitch-boss-cause-of-death-revealed-following-autopsy\/","title":{"rendered":"Stephen \u2018tWitch\u2019 Boss cause of death revealed following autopsy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"article-text\">\n<p>An autopsy has reportedly confirmed that Stephen \u201ctWitch\u201d Boss died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.<\/p>\n<p>The beloved \u201cThe Ellen DeGeneres Show\u201d DJ, 40, was\u00a0found dead\u00a0by a hotel maid inside the Oak Tree Inn in Encino, Calif., Tuesday after he missed his check-out.<\/p>\n<p>An autopsy was subsequently conducted by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner and Boss\u2019 body is now ready to be released to his wife, Allison Holker, 34, according to\u00a0RadarOnline.com.<\/p>\n<p>The Post has reached out to the medical examiner\u2019s office for confirmation.<\/p>\n<p>A heartbroken Holker released a statement to The Post earlier Wednesday, confirming her husband\u2019s death, saying: \u201cIt is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStephen lit up every room he stepped into,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cHe valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. He joined DeGeneres\u2019 show six years later.<\/p>\n<p>Boss and Holker, who is also a professional dancer, have been the hosts of \u201cDisney\u2019s Fairytale Weddings\u201d on Disney+ since 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The couple married Dec. 10, 2013, and just celebrated their ninth anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s our 9th anniversary!!
