A host of Ghana top-flight sides have been engaging in some friendly matches as they await the resumption of the campaign next week.<\/p>\n

The 2022\/23 football season is set to resume next week Monday after the FIFA World Cup ends in Qatar on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Champions Asante Kotoko, have been leading the pack with a couple of friendly matches against DOL sides Bofoakwa Tano and Asekem FC.<\/p>\n

The Porcupines, drew goalless with Bofoakwa on Sunday before beating Asekem FC 5-1 on Wednesday to continue with their preparations.<\/p>\n

Kotoko will play Berekum Chelsea next week Wednesday in a Matchday Nine fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium.<\/p>\n

Real Tamale United played a couple of friendlies over three days against Kumbungu Binbiem FC and Steadfast FC.<\/p>\n

They lost 2-1 to Binbiem FC on Sunday, before beating Standfast 3-1 to keep their balance.<\/p>\n

Other clubs have also been active over the past weekend with the Matchday Nine fixtures set to be played across all centres nationwide beginning on Monday.<\/p>\n
