Stephen \u201ctWitch\u201d Boss<\/strong>, the famed DJ on\u00a0Ellen Degeneres\u2019 talk show, is dead. He was 40 years old.<\/p>\n TMZ has learned it appears to be a suicide.<\/p>\n Law enforcement sources tell told the website that Stephen\u2019s wife\u00a0Allison Holker<\/strong>\u00a0ran into a Los Angelos Police Department (LAPD) station on Tuesday, and she was frantic because she said Stephen had left home without his car \u2013 something that was not like him at all.<\/p>\n Sources told TMZ that a short time later police got a call for a shooting at an L.A. hotel and they found Stephen there, dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.<\/p>\n In a statement issued to People<\/strong>, Allison Holker noted that \u201cStephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cStephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.\u201d<\/p>\n
