As a learner, Joey took advantage of the free scholarship given to grab a master&#8217;s degree.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey say education is the key to success, and I love to study. I had a bachelor\u2019s degree and wanted to get a master\u2019s. So why don\u2019t I join the army for them to sponsor my education?<\/p>\n<p>Besides that, there are other benefits. I could become a citizen and many others. That was how the idea came about. I met someone who had been in it before and told me about it,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Joey shared some requirements and debunked misconceptions about the recruitment process. He noted that the US army does not recruit from other countries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s an easy process to join the US army. There\u2019s no \u2018connection man\u2019 anywhere. The only person who can recruit you is the recruiter. That\u2019s his job. There is nothing like applying online in a different country. You must be in the US and have a green card to join the military.
