The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has warned the public to desist from receiving loans from unlicensed loan providers and thus issued a list containing the names of such entities.<\/p>\n

The BoG says the activities of these unauthorised loan providers are in contravention with the Banks and Specialised Deposit-Taking Institutions Act.<\/p>\n

The list of the unlicensed entities in question are:<\/p>\n

1. SikaPurse Quick Online loan<\/p>\n

2. 4Cedi Instant Mobile loan application<\/p>\n

3. Zidisha Online Loans<\/p>\n

4. GhanaLending Application<\/p>\n

5. ChasteLoan Application<\/p>\n

6. LoanClub Ghana Instant Loan 7. AdamfoPa Loan<\/p>\n

8. MetaLending- Instant Cash Loan<\/p>\n

9. Wohiasika Loan (Ghanaloan.net)<\/p>\n

10. Boscafie Bosea Micro-Credit<\/p>\n

11. Sikakasa Online Lending<\/p>\n

12. LoanPro-digital and instant loan<\/p>\n

13. SikaWura Loan Application<\/p>\n

14. BegyeBosea Loan<\/p>\n

15. LendingPapa \u2013 Online Loans<\/p>\n

16. CrestCash Loan<\/p>\n

17. Credxter \u2013 Loans and Hire-Purchase<\/p>\n

18. MobiLoan Application<\/p>\n

19. Cedi Now- Cash Loans Application<\/p>\n

In a statement, the BoG said it will soon crack the whip on these unlicensed loan providers whose activities pose threat to the banking sector.<\/p>\n

\u201cBank of Ghana is taking steps to take action against these entities and hereby advises the general public to desist from doing business with all unlicensed loan providers,\u201d the statement warned.<\/p>\n
