Credit: @flynimaboy \u2014 Twitter<\/p>\n<div id=\"article-text\">\n<p>US-based-Ghanaian gospel musician, Rosey, has disclosed that most of the support for her career comes from secular musicians, instead of her fellow gospel artistes.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on <strong>Daybreak Hitz<\/strong> on Friday, she said that some gospel musicians in Ghana are reluctant to support her cause \u2013 preaching the word of God through music \u2013 because they considered the music space as a \u201cchallenge\u201d between themselves all the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most love and support I have gotten was from secular artistes \u2014and it is sad to see,\u201d she told <strong>Doreen Avio<\/strong> on <strong>Hitz FM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p><div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"XIC0metWIPQ\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"I get more support and love from secular artists than gospel artists \u2013 Gospel musician Rosey\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XIC0metWIPQ?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>She added that US-based-Ghanaian gospel musicians support other artistes purely from their hearts \u2013 devoid of ulterior motives \u2013 unlike some Ghana-based gospel musicians.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey smile at you but you can tell that they have ulterior motives to cut you off behind your back or stab you behind your back,\u201d said the <em>Power <\/em>singer.<\/p>\n<p>Notwithstanding, Rosey went on to thank the few Ghanaian-based gospel musicians who support her wholeheartedly.<\/p>\n<p>She admonished her fellow gospel musicians not to view the music space as an arena for competition because \u201cthe room is big enough for everyone to thrive in the music business.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rosey is a Ghanaian Gospel\/Inspirational artiste with a gift and a voice like none other.<\/p>\n<p>She began to embody her talent at the age of 14 years when she started singing at her local ICGC Church (Takoradi Adumankoman District).<\/p>\n<p>She is currently based in Virginia (USA), and serving in the Navy as a United States Enlisted Sailor.<\/p>\n<p>She occasionally sings the national anthem at monumental ceremonies and events.<\/p>\n<p>Entering the next phase of her career, she aims to touch more hearts and win souls with her craft.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DISCLAIMER: <\/strong>The Views, Comments, Opinions, Contributions and Statements made by Readers and Contributors on this platform do not necessarily represent the views or policy of Multimedia Group Limited.<\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 900\"> Tags: \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>US-based-Ghanaian gospel musician, Rosey.
