Ghanaian contemporary Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Paul Nii Amu Andrew Darko, also known as, Darkovibes, is out with yet another infectious single titled \u2018Yao<\/strong>\u2018.<\/p>\n Following the artiste\u2019s recent disclosure of an upcoming EP, \u201cBUTiFLY\u201d, scheduled for release early next year, \u201cYao\u201d becomes the second prelude single from the project after the sultry and jazz-inflected \u201cHappy Day\u201d.<\/p>\n According to Darkovibes, \u201cYao\u201d simply means \u201cmay it come to pass as we stand firm\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is an affirmative response to declarations and therefore speaks to the intent with which the song was written. I am inviting listeners to my world of fun and escapades as a songwriter and affirming the celebration of life\u201d, Darkovibes said.<\/p>\n \u201cYao\u201d is a mid-tempo deep cut rap-inspired song led by swirls of Afrobeats vocals.
