– –<\/span> A Nigerian man motivated by the profound love for his fianc\u00e9e has converted to Islam in order to take her as his wife.<\/p>\n The man known as Ossai became a Muslim so that he could wed May Haidar through the Islamic rites.<\/p>\n – –<\/span> The news was shared on the verified Arewa Fashion And Styles page on Instagram on Monday November 21, 2022.<\/p>\n Haidar, who hails from Kaduna state revealed that her father initially objected to the union because he suspected that Ossai might convert back to his old religion.<\/p>\n – –<\/span> She revealed this while responding to a congratulatory post in the comment section.<\/p>\n \u201cI went to see my dad and told him about it, at first he was not happy cos he was skeptical about the conversion and scared if he would go back to his old religion.<\/p>\n My dad finally accepted and we did an introduction 4th June and wedding preparations started, we were supposed to get married in October but he lost his mum so we shifted the date and Alhamdulillah it came to pass,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Ossai had also shared photos from their wedding on November 17, 2022, and described May as the absolute love of his life.<\/p>\n He wrote; \u201cCongratulations to my lovely wife and I.
