Erskine on Y107.9FM\u2019s Myd Morning Show. \u201cI believe music goes far regardless ergo, you have to perform excellent music and once it sounds nice people jump on it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He believes the language barrier will make it difficult for the artist to break into new markets.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">&#8211;  &#8211;<\/span><br \/>\n<!-- ResponsiveAll --><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you\u2019re able to break through that barrier, then you can do the O2 arena and other places because those coming to watch you want to sing along, and if they don\u2019t understand anything about the music it\u2019s quite difficult,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>He used Nigerians as an example since they sing nearly exclusively in English, a factor he saw as a benefit for the country\u2019s music business.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">&#8211;  &#8211;<\/span><br \/>\n<!-- ResponsiveAll --><\/p>\n<p>READ ALSO:\u00a0My songs don\u2019t sound aggressive like before \u2013 Kuami Eugene<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fact that they use a lot of pidgin in their music and because it\u2019s English, people understand what\u2019s being said.
