{"id":1251356,"date":"2022-11-15T20:09:56","date_gmt":"2022-11-15T20:09:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/11\/15\/i-will-score-this-government-2-out-of-10-dr-nyaho-tamakloe-on-state-of-the-nation\/"},"modified":"2022-11-15T20:09:56","modified_gmt":"2022-11-15T20:09:56","slug":"i-will-score-this-government-2-out-of-10-dr-nyaho-tamakloe-on-state-of-the-nation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/11\/15\/i-will-score-this-government-2-out-of-10-dr-nyaho-tamakloe-on-state-of-the-nation\/","title":{"rendered":"I will score this government 2 out of 10 \u2013 Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe on state of the nation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"article-text\">\n<p>Statesman and Politician Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has scored the government two out of 10 for mismanaging the affairs of the country.<\/p>\n<p>He said the country\u2019s economy has slumped yet the government has failed to rise to the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with <strong>JoyNews\u2019 <\/strong>Benjamin Akakpo, the founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) noted that he is surprised by the turn of events under the Akufo-Addo government.<\/p>\n<p>Prices of goods and services have been on the rise recently while transportation fares have also increased more than four times due to the increase in fuel prices.<\/p>\n<p>The country\u2019s inflation rate currently stands at 40.4%, a level not ever witnessed in the country.<\/p>\n<p>When asked to rate the performance of the current government, Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe said, \u201cI will rate them two out of 10.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have retrogressed\u2026when I say we are a failed state, I know what I am talking about. This government is not functioning\u2026That surprises me because I know Nana Addo was not like that.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat has happened? I am surprised.
