Mzvee<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Female dancehall artiste, Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, popularly known in the music scene as MzVee, has announced plans to set up a foundation to champion women empowerment.<\/p>\n According to her, the foundation which will be launched soon will be funded from the GH\u00a2200,000 proceeds from her \u201810 Thirty\u2019 album launch and its sales.<\/p>\n MzVee, who recently launched her latest album, \u201810 Thirty\u2019, said her quest to establish her own non-governmental organisation (NGO) is to champion women empowerment.<\/p>\n BEATWAVES<\/em><\/strong> gathered that the foundation seeks to empower women and help them thrive both on the personal and professional levels, regardless of nationality and religious affiliation.<\/p>\n MzVee, whose hit songs such as \u2018Natural Girl\u2019, \u2018<\/em>Rewind\u2019, \u2018<\/em>Borkor Borkor\u2019 and \u2018Come And See My Moda\u2019 among others had made a lot of impact on the Ghanaian music scene, in an interview on Kastle FM<\/em> said, \u201cIf you\u2019ve followed me in my whole career and if you know me you will know that I\u2019m one person who\u2019s a big advocate for women empowerment.
