{"id":1250600,"date":"2022-11-14T21:18:44","date_gmt":"2022-11-14T21:18:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/11\/14\/its-daylight-robbery-ill-never-accept-the-results\/"},"modified":"2022-11-14T21:18:44","modified_gmt":"2022-11-14T21:18:44","slug":"its-daylight-robbery-ill-never-accept-the-results","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/11\/14\/its-daylight-robbery-ill-never-accept-the-results\/","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s daylight robbery; I&#8217;ll never accept the results"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"367\" class=\"entry-thumb\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-11-14-at-12.42.25-696x367.jpeg\"   alt=\"\" title=\"Godfred Wumbei NDC Northern Regional chairman aspirant\"\/><\/div>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" allow=\"autoplay\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/1382807551&#038;color=%23ff5500&#038;auto_play=false&#038;hide_related=false&#038;show_comments=true&#038;show_user=true&#038;show_reposts=false&#038;show_teaser=true&#038;visual=true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A defeated aspirant for the chairmanship position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Northern Region, Godfred Wumbei, has said he will not accept the electoral results. <\/p>\n<p>This, according to him, is because the results do not reflect reality.<\/p>\n<p>The Chairmanship position was contested by four persons and after the voting on Sunday, Ali John Adolf emerged as the victor with 247 votes.<\/p>\n<p>His close contender, Wumbei Godfred, pulled 236 votes while Alhaji Umar Farouk had nine votes, and Hassan Rufai Ahmed Vellim obtained 93.<\/p>\n<p>The outcome sent a shock through Mr Wumbei\u2019s veins, causing him to weep uncontrollably, demanding he is sworn in as the chairman.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on Adom FM\u2019s <strong>Dwaso Nsem<\/strong>, Mr Wumbei stated a daylight robbery took place at the voting centre.<\/p>\n<p>He claimed at the end of polls, he was leading by 11 votes which his agents confirmed but for reasons he cannot tell, his opponent was rather declared winner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will never accept the defeat today or tomorrow. The total ballot vote cast was 591 for the Chairmanship position.
