{"id":1249966,"date":"2022-11-13T23:29:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-13T23:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/11\/13\/i-feel-betrayed-cristiano-ronaldo-hits-out-at-man-utd-and-erik-ten-hag\/"},"modified":"2022-11-13T23:29:00","modified_gmt":"2022-11-13T23:29:00","slug":"i-feel-betrayed-cristiano-ronaldo-hits-out-at-man-utd-and-erik-ten-hag","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/11\/13\/i-feel-betrayed-cristiano-ronaldo-hits-out-at-man-utd-and-erik-ten-hag\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;I feel betrayed&#8217; &#8211; Cristiano Ronaldo hits out at Man Utd and Erik Ten Hag"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"615\" height=\"409\" class=\"entry-thumb\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/0_GettyImages-1395939285-1.jpg\"   alt=\"\" title=\"0_GettyImages-1395939285-1\"\/><\/div>\n<p>Cristiano Ronaldo has accused Manchester United of \u201cbetraying\u201d him and alleges manager Erik ten Hag is among a number of people trying to force him out of the club.<\/p>\n<p>Ronaldo sat down with TV presenter Piers Morgan for an exclusive interview set to be broadcast in full later in the week, but in an early clip, the Portuguese forward expressed dismay at his supposed treatment at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n<p>The 37-year-old, who re-joined the club for a second spell in 2021, has fallen foul of summer appointment Ten Hag and was dropped from the side for disciplinary issues in recent weeks.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/22191989129,1002554\/MGL\/mgl_ado_atunwa_300x250 --><\/p>\n<p>Ronaldo had been linked with a move away from the club last summer, but was forced to remain at Old Trafford due to a lack of concrete interest elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>The player told Morgan he believes the club are trying to \u201cforce him out\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes,\u201d Ronaldo admitted. \u201cNot only the coach but another two or three guys there around the club.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI felt betrayed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Asked if he thought United were trying to \u201cget rid\u201d of him, the five-time Ballon d\u2019Or winner responded: \u201cHonestly, I shouldn\u2019t say that, I don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cListen, I don\u2019t care. People should listen to the truth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes I feel betrayed. And I felt some people don\u2019t want me here.
