Without the Bank of Ghana\u2019s interventions, the economic situation would have been triple time worse,\u201d he said in a write up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe current measures being implemented by the Bank of Ghana are yielding results,\u201d Dr Anim stressed.<\/p>\n<p>He added \u201cThe decision to increase the policy rate in the last MPC meeting was \u00a0apt.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am also \u00a0aware of the recent clamp down to flush out the activities of the black market operators. This is part of measures to ensure a stable currency. Let\u2019s rather support and encourage the Governor and not to make statements that tend to vilify him. Despite the current situation, l haven\u2019t heard of any financial institution complain of liquidity challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The BoG has ensured that there is liquidity in the system.
