{"id":1249223,"date":"2022-11-11T22:19:59","date_gmt":"2022-11-11T22:19:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/11\/11\/volta-national-democratic-congress-elections-underway-in-ho\/"},"modified":"2022-11-11T22:19:59","modified_gmt":"2022-11-11T22:19:59","slug":"volta-national-democratic-congress-elections-underway-in-ho","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/11\/11\/volta-national-democratic-congress-elections-underway-in-ho\/","title":{"rendered":"Volta National Democratic Congress elections underway in Ho \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>By Daniel Agbesi Latsu<\/p>\n<p>Ho (V\/R), Nov. 11, GNA \u2013 The day one election activities of the Volta Regional National Democratic\u00a0Congress (NDC) is underway in Ho, the regional capital. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A total of 136 delegates would exercise their franchise for 13 contestants vying for Regional Youth\u00a0Organiser, Deputy Youth Organiser, Women Organiser and Deputy Women Organiser. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Francis Ganyaglo, Chairman, Volta Region Election Committee, disclosed this to the Ghana\u00a0News Agency (GNA) in an interview. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He said there are three Candidates contesting for Youth Organiser post while four are vying for\u00a0deputy Youth Organiser position. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Women Organiser post had two contestants with four deputy women Organiser candidates. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Mathias Alagbo, the incumbent Youth Organiser is battling it with Mr. Angelo Norkplim\u00a0Agbodzie and Dziewornu Boli for the post while the Deputy Youth Organiser post is contest by\u00a0Mr. Kwame Asiemoah Jnr., the incumbent, Alex Doe Wuadi, Johnson K. Samlafo and Alex Biney. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Women Organiser post is a straight contest between the incumbent, Madam Delphia Fafa\u00a0Agbai and Madam Akusika M. Kpene. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Madam Mariam Akua J.
