Sarkodie has stated that he has directly benefited from the government\u2019s free senior high school (SHS) policy which he illustrated in his Happy Day song featuring Kuame Eugene.<\/h2>\n

The rapper said that he supported the Nana Toaso lyrics of his Happy Day song releases during the 2020 elections because he only supported things for which he had been a beneficiary.<\/p>\n

He mentioned this in a statement made on 3FM\u2019s This is Culture today, on November 10. He\u2019s quoted as saying; <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I said he [Nana Addo] should \u2018toaso\u2019, I stand by it because I think I benefitted from Free Education directly and I have the right to say I endorse that because this is directly. My mum has these girls we\u2019ve been supporting. <\/p>\n

At first, she would call asking me to help. I am not saying it is much but just the fact that I am not even hearing that, it came from that place. And I was specific about what I was endorsing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI knew the Nana Toaso part will be misconstrued but that is the music part of me.\u201d<\/p>\n
