Former Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Joseph Yammin, has lamented on poor player selection for Qatar 2022 World Cup citing experimental players for the mundial.<\/p>\n

Hon. Yammin, believes there is no team cohesion in the Black Stars ahead of the tournament starting this month.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cIn football, cohesion is very important\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut we in Ghana are still experimenting, and we have just one match to play to the World Cup\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd so as at now, we don\u2019t know which players are pairing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

So we playing our last match without a team and we\u2019ll not have any other opportunity to play among ourselves again before the World Cup\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo at the World Cup, we will be playing our first match with an experimented team.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And your first match if it doesn\u2019t go well with you , then there\u2019s a problem\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo to me, I think that we don\u2019t have a team going into the World Cup.<\/p>\n

And I don\u2019t know how we\u2019ll be able to turn things around because the experience of the team, lies in how many matches they\u2019ve played among themselves together\u201d.<\/p>\n
