However, he left the pitch in pain with a thigh injury.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/22191989129,1002554\/MGL\/mgl_ado_atunwa_300x250 --><\/p>\n<p>The 23-year-old confirmed his unavailability to represent Ghana\u00a0at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in an Instagram post that he will be out for several few weeks after undergoing a scan earlier today.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"724\" height=\"718\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Stephan-Ambrosius.png\" alt=\"Stephan Ambrosius\" class=\"wp-image-2181358\"  \/><figcaption><strong>Stephan Ambrosius<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cVery annoying \ud83d\ude16 unfortunately I will cancel the next games, thank you for the numerous recovery wishes!,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wish my team @karlsruhersc and the national team @ghana_fa_official good luck for the upcoming tasks\ud83c\udf40\u2764\ufe0f Very frustrating\ud83d\ude16 unfortunately I\u2019ll be missing the next games.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you so much for all the well wishes!
