{"id":1246537,"date":"2022-11-08T12:16:24","date_gmt":"2022-11-08T12:16:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/11\/08\/2022-wc-black-stars-will-play-in-the-final\/"},"modified":"2022-11-08T12:16:24","modified_gmt":"2022-11-08T12:16:24","slug":"2022-wc-black-stars-will-play-in-the-final","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/11\/08\/2022-wc-black-stars-will-play-in-the-final\/","title":{"rendered":"2022 WC: Black Stars will play in the final"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\">\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"375\" class=\"entry-thumb\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/1142022112611-vaqdthfssn-mark-addo-696x375.jpg\"   alt=\"Mark Addo\" title=\"Mark Addo\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mark Addo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mark Addo, believes that the Black Stars will reach the finals of the 2022 World Cup.<\/p>\n<p>The West African country will be making its fourth appearance in the Mundial in Qatar later this month.<\/p>\n<p>Ghana\u2019s best performance in the history of the biggest football tournament came in 2010 in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/22191989129,1002554\/MGL\/mgl_ado_atunwa_300x250 --><\/p>\n<p>The four-time African champions became the third African side to play in the quarterfinal of the global showpiece.<\/p>\n<p>After securing qualification at the expense of Nigeria in March, Ghana has been paired with Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.<\/p>\n<p>However, Mr Addo is optimistic the Black Stars will reach the finals of the Mundial.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe plan to go as far as the final hopefully,\u201d he told Citi Sports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ ALSO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cGhana is experienced at the World Cup now and I believe we [Ghana] will reach the final.
