{"id":1245605,"date":"2022-11-07T10:27:23","date_gmt":"2022-11-07T10:27:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/11\/07\/nabco-trainees-to-fast-and-pray-over-unpaid-allowances\/"},"modified":"2022-11-07T10:27:23","modified_gmt":"2022-11-07T10:27:23","slug":"nabco-trainees-to-fast-and-pray-over-unpaid-allowances","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/11\/07\/nabco-trainees-to-fast-and-pray-over-unpaid-allowances\/","title":{"rendered":"NABCo trainees to fast and pray over unpaid allowances"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Nation Builders Corps Trainees Association of Ghana (NABTAG) has declared a one-day prayer for God\u2019s intervention to change the heart of government officials over their unpaid allowances.<\/p>\n<p>The former NABCo trainees have, therefore, set Wednesday, November 9, 2022, for fasting and prayers over their unpaid allowances.<\/p>\n<p>A statement issued by the trainees said: \u201c[Because of] the suffering, NABCo trainees are to fast and pray on Wednesday, November 9th 2022, [for] God to touch the heart of our leaders to hear our cry and pay us\u2026NABCO trainees sacrificed their lives for Ghana for 46 tough months (3 years, 10 months).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The statement added that \u201cUnfortunately for us, after 46 months of sacrifice, we were just told to go home sadly. By that time, the government owed us 10 months\u2019 stipends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe pleaded for a long time [but] the government insulted us with one month stipend. It is only God who knows the hardship these innocent trainees went through for these 46 months and still going through.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTherefore, we are turning to God for his intervention by fasting and prayers on Wednesday, 9th November 2022 for God to change the heart of these leaders towards us in this difficult time for them to pay what is due us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is written in the book of Psalm 61:1, (Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer.) and in Proverb chapter 21:1 that (The king\u2019s heart is in the hand of the Lord; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe implore every trainee to be part of this one-day fasting and prayers.
