I can reliably inform you that the Ministry of Communications and Digitalization has finally seen wisdom in our position.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: rgb(34, 34, 34);\">&#8220;They have through the National Communications Authority directed the MNOs [Mobile Network Operators] to accept the Voter&#8217;s ID Card as a document for the registration of our SIM cards.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"background-color: transparent; color: rgb(34, 34, 34);\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/814a2701942e40929aff3cf9d27b1fe8\" height=\"433\" width=\"485\"\/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: rgb(34, 34, 34);\">However, according to <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34);\">Graphic Online <\/span><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\"> the Ministry of Communications and Digitalization has not made any announcement on the new directive and that their checks at the Ministry for a confirmation of the MPs claim is yet to be verified.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">The last time the Ministry made announcement on the registration it stated that all SIM cards that have been linked to Ghana cards, that is completed Stage 1 registration, but have not completed Stage 2 registration of biometrically verifying users, will be blocked from the end of October 2022.
