After just one month of marriage, a lady was granted her wish for divorce, but the court ordered her to return the dowry and the bag of clothing that the guy had given her.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Maryam Dahiru, a Nigerian lady, filed a petition for a divorce from her husband Salihu Yakubu on October 12 at a Sharia Court in the city of Magajin Gari, Kaduna.<\/p>\n

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the judge Malam Rilwanu Kyaudai acknowledged the divorce through Khul\u2019i (divorce by mutual Agreement).<\/p>\n

But he insisted that Dahiru return her dowry to her ex-husband: a bag full of clothing (except the ones she already had).<\/p>\n

All the clothing she hasn\u2019t worn yet will be returned. According to NAN, the judge decided that the ex-wife may remove her possessions from her ex-home. husband\u2019s<\/p>\n
