I\u2019m bi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCongrats for forcing an 18 year old to out himself. I think some of you missed the point of the show. Bye.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although Connor didn\u2019t reveal why he felt forced to reveal his sexuality, his post comes after some people accused him of \u201cqueerbaiting\u201d after he was pictured holding hands with \u2018A Cuban Girl\u2019s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow\u2019 co-star Maia Reficco.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">back for a minute. i\u2019m bi. congrats for forcing an 18 year old to out himself. i think some of you missed the point of the show. bye<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kit Connor (@kit_connor) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kit_connor\/status\/1587218539236188160?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 31, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u2018Heartstopper\u2019 creator, writer and show runner Alice Oseman has thrown her support behind the star in a powerful tweet.<\/p>\n<p>She replied: \u201cI truly don\u2019t understand how people can watch \u2018Heartstopper\u2019 and then gleefully spend their time speculating about sexualities and judging based on stereotypes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope all those people are embarrassed as F***.
