A woman posted to the\u00a0subreddit, \u201cr\/TrueOffMyChest\u201d\u00a0to express her disgust with her best friend and her soon-to-be ex-boyfriend.<\/p>\n Before going into her story, she expressed that she is \u201cangry, sad, devastated, horrified and can\u2019t stop laughing at this complete stupidity.\u201d<\/p>\n The woman explained that she had been dating her boyfriend for four years and\u00a0thought he would be the man she would marry.<\/p>\n As for the friend\u00a0who betrayed her, the writer said, \u201cI thought my best friend since we were teens would be my maid of honor.\u201d<\/p>\n Her best friend confessed to sleeping with her boyfriend for more than a year.\u00a0<\/p>\n The day before posting her story, the woman\u2019s so-called bestie had confessed to having an affair with the boyfriend for a year and a half.<\/p>\n To justify her bad behaviour, the best friend explained that the deception \u201cwas never supposed to happen like this.\u201d<\/p>\n The woman did not believe her friend\u2019s logic, stating, \u201cHonestly the smell of bulls\u2013t coming out of her mouth made me dizzy.\u201d<\/p>\n To make matters worse, the guilty woman confessed that the affair had led to a pregnancy.<\/p>\n She claimed to feel \u201chorribly guilty\u201d and went on to ask the woman she betrayed to remain in her life and to be the Godmother to her baby.<\/p>\n Taken aback by the request, the writer called the woman a \u201cwh\u2014\u201d and said, \u201cShe must have knocked her head on his tiny little ba\u2014\u00a0a few too many times and got brain damage.\u201d<\/p>\n They say hindsight is 20\/20 and the poster agrees that\u00a0all of the signs were there\u00a0and she should have known about the deception.<\/p>\n Looking back, she recalled all the times she would catch her boyfriend and her best friend \u201cgiving each other looks.\u201d<\/p>\n Then there were the unexpected visits to the home when the poster wasn\u2019t there.<\/p>\n Her untrustworthy friend claimed to be paying her a surprise visit.<\/p>\n The woman confirmed near the end of her post that both people that had done her wrong would \u201cgo down as my ex in my contacts.\u201d<\/p>\n She updated the post to let people know she was grateful for their support.<\/p>\n After an outpouring of kind words, the Redditor updated her post to show gratitude for all the positive responses she had received.<\/p>\n One commenter said, \u201cThe heading of this post alone explains how weird this situation is. It\u2019s again sad that you are the victim of this situation.
