Nothing, no sector, not cocoa, not gold, not oil, nothing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-embed-handler wp-block-embed-embed-handler wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p><div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"ZgQpa1YvcSs\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"No sector can compete with creative sector if given right attention - Ebo Whyte\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZgQpa1YvcSs?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>In a related development, the motivational speaker has compared Ghana\u2019s socio-economic development with that of teenagers.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, as a nation, Ghana behaves like a teenager.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not neat, teenagers will not clean their rooms. We think we know, so we are too known, we are lazy we would rather sleep and have fun than anything else. We do not want to do the work of the mind and that is Ghana for you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at\u00a0<strong>Joy Entertainment<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0<strong>ShowBiz Roundtable\u00a0<\/strong>discussion on Saturday<strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>Uncle Ebo Whyte noted that although the country is over 60 years, in comparison with the civilisation of other countries, Ghana is a \u201cteenager\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that this is evident in the governance of the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you compare it with a 5000-year-old civilisation, when you compare Ghana with some of those countries then Ghana in nation terms, is a teenager and we exhibit all the characteristics of teenagers.<\/p>\n<p>The motivational speaker further referenced the English Premier League and how many partnerships have come together to monetize the league.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, same should be done to Ghana\u2019s creative sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven if we take the EPL, the EPL has become a cash cow only in the last few years. It was not that way. Some people got in there and decided we can make something out of that and I believe it is time we do the same for Ghana,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>However, the playwright is not convinced that any Ghanaian government could make that happen.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-myjoyonline-com wp-block-embed-myjoyonline-com\"\/>\n<p>This, he said is because the country has been cursed with leaders who only care about amassing wealth and not the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have not been blessed with leaders who care about Ghana. We have been cursed with leaders who look at their pockets first.
