Popular hiplife artiste, Mzbel has dispelled the widely held view that her latest\u00a0Asibolanga\u00a0song is a diss to her estranged friend, Afia Schwarzenegger.<\/p>\n
In the last few weeks, the 16-year hitmaker has been making headlines and creating lots of buzz on social media when she posted a snippet of her upcoming song,\u00a0Asibolanga.<\/p>\n
Since the public post, her followers immediately labelled her latest piece a diss song to Afia Schwarzenneger.<\/p>\n
This is because the name\u00a0Asibolanga\u00a0is mostly used by actor and social media influencer, Tornado in his social media banters with Afia Schwarzenegger.<\/p>\n
But speaking on Sammy Kay Media recently before the song\u2019s official release today, October 28, Mzbel said her\u00a0Asibolanga\u00a0song is just for fun and not a means to court anyone\u2019s displeasure.<\/p>\n
\u201cAsibolanga\u00a0is not a name. There\u2019s nobody called\u00a0Asibolanga. It basically means an angry person. It\u2019s a spiritual language so you don\u2019t need to understand or know its origin. There are things that nobody teaches but it\u2019s a spiritual language.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m a Ga and we always label or give identity and names to things or persons. However, that doesn\u2019t mean that\u2019s the official name of that person or thing. It\u2019s just an identity.\u00a0\u00a0Asibolanga\u00a0is not a name, I\u2019m just using it to sing.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not referring it to Afia or anyone but if anyone accepts the song as a diss or whatever, well, then I can\u2019t do anything about it,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Before the official release today, excerpts of the song gained popularity on social media and were used by Tiktokers to promote their videos.<\/p>\n
Currently, the song has almost 50,000 views on Youtube after 12 hours of its release and some followers are praising Mzbel for her creativity and delivery on the latest tune.<\/p>\n
This is what Cecilia Boateng posted on Youtube. \u201cEeeiii! Let\u2019s put everything aside. This lady is really talented. Everything is on point. Please make a comeback because, you still got it\u201d.<\/p>\n
Josephine Arthur also wrote, \u201cThe fact that she’s making money out of a beef is mind-blowing. This lady is so creative. This is who you call a musician. A true musician puts their life experience in songs and make bread out of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
