But that narrative is being downed by a daring afternoon pop-up jam, iMullar Sound System.<\/p>\n
The Energy 003 edition of the programme came off at Front\/Back in Accra on Saturday, October 22.<\/p>\n
By midday, tons of patrons who had converged at the venue met warm-up serenades by Araba.OA with other DJs ready to go.<\/p>\n
The eclectic mix of sounds from electric music down to hip-hop and hip-life enriched the space.<\/p>\n
Afrolektra, B. Frvnkie, DJ Shagy, Edwvn took turns to heighten the pulse of the experience via the turntables.<\/p>\n
It was closed by exciting the duo, DJ Neizer & DJ Juvenile, and the crown could not get enough of the thrill.<\/p>\n
The audience was a general mix of Ghanaians and diasporans alike who had found commune in this intriguing getaway from the week\u2019s hustle.<\/p>\n
They danced to great music and networked amid the cozy ambience. <\/p>\n
\u201cAt the iMullar sound system, I say DJs are not Jukeboxes but entertainers with unique sets. Handing the power back to the DJs, masters of music discovery, is what keeps me going,\u201d says Maxwell Adjavon in his interview with GQ.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the fourth edition is around the corner. December 24th will see a repeat as patrons who missed Saturday\u2019s showdown have already promised to show up this time.<\/p>\n
There were some surprise acts such as Kirani Ayat, Larusso, and Yung Demz.<\/p>\n
