Mark Okraku Mantey<\/strong><\/p>\n Deputy Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture,\u00a0Mark Okraku Mantey, has denied claims by actress\u00a0Salma Mumin that he treated her unfairly when she auctioned\u00a0for Ghana\u2019s Most Beautiful (GMB) pageant years ago.<\/p>\n In an interview on UTV<\/em><\/strong> on Saturday, Salma allegedly said\u00a0that her dreams to become Ghana\u2019s Most\u00a0Beautiful was truncated.\u00a0This was partly\u00a0because of how Mark treated her, but she added that\u00a0she did not give up her dreams in showbiz.<\/p>\n She made the claim when UTV<\/em><\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0panel discussed a\u00a0recent TV3 Mentor audition incident involving Ghanaian\u00a0musician Abiana,\u00a0who is a judge on the show and\u00a0an up-and-coming\u00a0artiste.<\/p>\n \u201cMark Okraku auditioned as my judge at Ghana\u2019s Most\u00a0Beautiful auditions. I have been to a lot of auditions in my\u00a0life.\u00a0The year that Chaanna won, I couldn\u2019t make it to the semi-final auditions because I could not\u00a0speak the local dialect, which is the Wale. But now I say proverbs in my local\u00a0dialect. To go through what he did wasn\u2019t so cool. I have had\u00a0encounters with Mark Okraku as a judge. He was really arrogant\u00a0towards me and I was so scared.
