{"id":1236440,"date":"2022-10-27T16:15:40","date_gmt":"2022-10-27T16:15:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/10\/27\/multi-award-winning-ashanti-regional-minister-to-receive-another-award\/"},"modified":"2022-10-27T16:15:40","modified_gmt":"2022-10-27T16:15:40","slug":"multi-award-winning-ashanti-regional-minister-to-receive-another-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/10\/27\/multi-award-winning-ashanti-regional-minister-to-receive-another-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Multi-award-winning Ashanti Regional Minister to receive another award\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>By Stephen Asante<\/p>\n<p>Accra, Oct. 27, GNA \u2013 Mr Simon Osei-Mensah, the longest-serving Ashanti Regional Minister, and former Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosomtwe, is to be inducted into the Ghana-Nigeria Achievers Award Hall of Fame.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>His induction, which will take place at the seventh edition of the Ghana-Nigeria Achievers Awards Night, in Ikeja, Lagos-Nigeria, on Saturday, October 29, 2022, will also see the multi-award winning Minister receive the \u2018Most Effective Regional Minister\u2019 Award \u2013 Africa category.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Ghana-Nigeria Achievers Award Foundation (GNAAF) is organising the event, to recognise individuals making an impact and uniting the two countries through their activities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese two great countries can become a powerful force to reckon with in the comity of nations, if the inherent resources are judiciously managed by our leaders,\u201d a statement issued, and jointly signed by Comrade Barry Ndu and Serwaa Gyedu, the GNAAF Convener and Secretary, respectively, copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Accra, said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The award forms part of the Foundation\u2019s sustained and deliberate move to promote high moral standards among office holders, business leaders and entrepreneurs, especially between the two West African states.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Since 2017, the Ashanti Regional Minister has been a proud recipient of prestigious awards and recognition from both international and local organizations, for his contribution to humanity and development of Ashanti Region and Ghana at large.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He currently holds the record as four-time Best Regional Minister by FAKS Investigations Limited, a renowned research body in the country.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Osei-Mensah was in 2019 given the Presidential Globe African Heroes Honours Award as the Best Regional Minister under the President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo\u2019s Administration.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Again, in 2019, a USA-based professional body, the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance, also awarded the Minister with an \u201cExcellence in Organizational and Heroes\u201d award.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the programme will also recognise individuals making an impact and uniting the two countries through their activities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>GNA\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><h3 class=\"jp-relatedposts-headline\"><em>Related News<\/em><\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script type=\"52aaecc70b8be6511bfe1ac4-text\/javascript\">(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
