Samini<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Popular Ghanaian musician Emmanuel Andrews Samini,\u00a0known in the entertainment industry as Samini, has joined the list of\u00a0artistes who have expressed worry over the state of the economy.<\/p>\n The singer posted on his Facebook page on Sunday, October 23, saying, he\u00a0believed in President Akufo- Addo\u2019s vision and concept of change, but noted that\u00a0he was also worried about the remaining two years of the President.<\/p>\n \u201cBut two years to go as President, my soul bleeds,\u201d he wrote in the post.\u00a0 \u201cOur investments wash away daily as the dollar openly whips our cedi, your\u00a0people are crying. We cannot pretend all is well,\u201d he stated in the post.<\/p>\n He admitted he supported President Akufo-Addo\u2019s bid to be President, but he is\u00a0disheartened as investments are not yielding profits as a result of the rapid\u00a0depreciation of the cedi.<\/p>\n Samini, notwithstanding, is hopeful that Ghana would overcome the prevailing\u00a0economic crisis since it\u2019s blessed with the ability to confront problems head-on.\u00a0 \u201cBut if God has blessed Ghana with anything, it is our ability to stare difficulty\u00a0right in the face and say, it will be alright,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Samini has urged Ghanaians to keep faith and pray for a better Ghana.\u00a0 \u201cWe go keep hope alive and continue to soldier on.
