Lil Nas X turned down Beyonce\u0301 to entertain his fans.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old rapper \u2013 whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill \u2013 explained that he once received a party invitation from the \u2018Break My Soul\u2019 songstress but declined in favour of performing at his concert.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI\u2019ve actually been invited to come to one of her\u2019 Renaissance\u2019 parties and that was super dope. think it was on the day of one of the shows and I was like, \u201cdo I completely leave my fans stranded and don\u2019t come to the show to see Beyonc\u00e9 or not,\u2019 but you know I couldn\u2019t. Some time though for sure!\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the \u201cINDUSTRY BABY\u201d hitmaker went on to add that Beyonce\u0301\u2019s latest album \u201cRenaissance\u201d had left him feeling \u201cliberated\u201d and claimed it was \u201cso big\u201d of her to go in a different artistic direction.<\/p>\n

He told E! News: \u201cThe overall idea of this super duper pop legend, not even, this music legend in general, going into this direction that\u2019s not really mainstream at all. I think that\u2019s just so big of her. It\u2019s liberating.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nas was teamed up with confectionary brand M and Ms and loved being able to \u201cspread music\u201d and design his tour around the colours of the hard-shelled chocolate candies.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI think my favorite thing about this partnership is that I get to work with a brand that\u2019s as legendary as M and Ms and knowing that it also has a cause helping spread music and inspire through connection. <\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like it\u2019s really great and we co-designed this after my tour and the colors are beautiful and I think there\u2019s going to be a lot of people saying the same so I\u2019m excited about it.\u201d<\/p>\n
