Founder and General Overseer of the Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Kofi Oduro says Ghana’s Finance Minister, ken Ofori-Atta, has failed on his job.<\/span><\/p>\n

He says the Finance Minister would have been fired if Ghana were a private entity.<\/span><\/p>\n

He adds that he is aware the current government does not appreciate honest criticism but he will still speak truth to power as he is required to do as a man of God.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Wrong is wrong. When you are wrong, I need to look into your eyes and tell you that you are wrong. It doesn’t matter who you are, that is what is killing this nation and it is killing churches<\/span><\/p>\n

“This is the time. Your Excellency to make changes and that changes must be to the honour and glory of God….our finance minister, even though he is a Christian, has failed miserably and I am telling your Excellency with all due respect, this is the time to make drastic changes. We cannot sit here when $1.00 is equal to GH\u20b512.00”, he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

“You can do whatever you like; I came with a fresh grace to tell you something. Look, what I have observed is that the current government hates being told the truth but I am telling you to take it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf Ghana is my private and somebody is not delivering; I fire them. I replace them; I hire somebody else and then we are working…why can’t a nation do that”, he asked.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prophet Oduro made the above comments when speaking to his congregants, video of which has since gone viral.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the time he was making these statements the Ghanaian cedi was trading around GH\u20b512.00 but the currency is now selling at GH\u20b514.50 to the United States dollar.<\/span><\/p>\n
