Sad news for the boy, us and Portugal,\u201d the German added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s surprisingly OK so far. He\u2019s an incredibly smart boy. I think he knew it when we carried him off the pitch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe passed each other after the game and he explained pretty much what had happened.
