She revealed the number of men she has slept with in ten years of working as a sex worker.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\nIn a chat on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Abigail indicated that she left her marriage after her husband ditched her at the hospital while she was in labour. The divorcee disclosed that they were married at a young age and blamed her decision to leave her marriage on being an irrational young girl.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cWe got married after our firstborn, and we were still young at the time. Then I got pregnant with twins a few months after, but I lost them. I went into labour on Tuesday and gave birth on Thursday, but my husband was nowhere to be found.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\nI told my mom that I would divorce him after giving birth. I wish I were still with him now. I regret it when I look back on the I\u2019ve lived.\u00a0If I had listened to my parents\u2019 advice to stay in the marriage, it might have helped me,\u201d she said.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\nMoreover, Abigail stated that she eventually came to Accra to work, but life\u2019s struggles led her into prostitution. According to Abigail, she saw sex work a means to pay her rent. The 36-year-old told the host of Ghetto Life Story, DJ Nyaami, she has slept with about 2000 men and \u201ceven more, but it\u2019s changed now. There is no money.\u201d\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\nDespite the regrets of being a sex worker, she can boast of supporting two of her siblings\u2019 education at the secondary level.
