Alexander Twumasi, Ebenezer Opoku Osaepresenting the cheque to Emmanuel Glenn Addotey<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n STARLIFE ASSURANCE, a leading life insurance company in Ghana, has presented a cheque of GHC10,000 to a member of the Old Toms (St. Aquinas SHS) 1997 Year Group as first claim payment to its newly introduced \u2018My Clique\u2019 life insurance policy.<\/p>\n The StarLife \u2018My Clique\u2019 Plan which was launched 3months ago is a group welfare insurance policy designed for old students\u2019 associations or alumni groups to provide financial compensation to members and their loved ones when unexpected life events occur.<\/p>\n Emmanuel Glenn Addotey, beneficiary of the GHC10,000, lost his dad 3 months after the 1997 alumni of St. Aquinas SHS sign-up on the \u2018My Clique\u2019 policy when it was launched.<\/p>\n Presenting the cheque to Mr. Addotey, Alexander Twumasi, Head of Commercial Business of StarLife Assurance, said: \u201cMy Clique Planis a novelty in the industry, especially for all alumni groups. We introduced this unique product to minimize the manyunscheduled contributionsmade by members ofold students\u2019 associations when the unexpected such as, total disability, critical illness and the death of member, spouse or parent occur.
