Black Sherif has been facing controversies ever since he started blowing up.<\/p>\n
His latest controversy was caused by one of the songs on his debut album titled “Oh Paradise”. The song serves as a eulogy for a dear friend who Black Sherif lost.<\/p>\n
As the song grew popular many carried their investigations to point out and alleged that a former high schoolmate called Clementina Konadu was the “friend” Black Sherif was talking about. Others also alleged that that was Black Sherif’s first girlfriend.<\/p>\n
The father of the deceased stated in a recent interview that Black Sherif should have sought his permission first before using her daughter for a song.<\/p>\n
Ghanaians have however jumped to the defence of Black Sherif Against the father of Clementina. Below are the reasons they gave.<\/p>\n

1. The Song is titled “Oh Paradise” and not “Oh Clementina”<\/strong><\/p>\n Ghanaians argued that the song never made mention of Clementina. They added that it’s not as if Black Sherif used her name in the title of the song.<\/p>\n 2. Black Sherif was a student when the incident happened<\/strong><\/p>\n Another argument made in the defence of Black Sherif was that he was a student when the incident happened. The father of Clementina in his interview was bashing Black Sherif for not helping out in purchasing a coffin when the incident happened. The father added that no one declared that he was dating his daughter. This argument from the father is debunked because as stated, Black Sherif was a student and would not even have the finances to make the contribution that he is talking of.<\/p>\n 3. Black Sherif was already famous<\/strong><\/p>\n Ghanaians opine that the Black Sherif is already popular and thus didn’t write the song for fame but rather as a form of eulogy. They called the actions of the father of Clementina needless as they view it as him crying over split milk.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
