I\u2019ve been using one daily for two years now, and it integrates easily with a Philips Hue, Wyze indoor security cameras, SimpliSafe home alarm, Google Calendar, Spotify, and more. Even in the other room, its microphone can pick up the sound of my voice reasonably accurately.<\/p>\n
Once the cool weather of autumn and winter rolls in, indoor humidity tends to drop as low as that of the outdoor air. It leads to dry skin, cracking furniture, and musical instruments going out of tune. Plus, it can just be uncomfortable. I\u2019ve used a single-tank version of this Vornado humidifier for two years and have been impressed with its fan\u2019s ability to circulate the humidified air throughout the room. It\u2019s easy to set the desired humidity level and, aside from filling it up with water once a day, it\u2019s a set-it-and-forget-it machine.<\/p>\n
This is an Instant Pot with a couple of extra bells and whistles. In addition to being a pressure cooker, rice cooker, steamer, broiler, and more, the Crisp version adds the ability to air fry foods. The Roomba 694 includes the accuracy and performance iRobot is (rightly) famous for without any of the superfluous bells and whistles. That\u2019s why we recommend it as our affordable option in our Best Robot Vacuums guide. We occasionally see this go on sale, but for the vast majority of the year, it sells for full price.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Make your own soda and sparkling beverages at home with a SodaStream. Just buy the flavor packs you like, load up a CO\u2082 canister, and it\u2019ll carbonate your water and mix your drink without forcing you to keep making soda runs to the grocery store. You can also skip the sugary additives and just make carbonated water.<\/p>\n
Smoothies are delicious! They also cost about eight bucks in a shop, which means that you\u2019re literally drinking an enormous markup. Make your own with a powerful, 900-Watt NutriBullet. This more powerful Pro model can blend up to 32 fluid ounces of fruit, vegetables, and nuts at a time with its stainless steel blades.<\/p>\n
This model has been our recommendation as the best air purifier for small rooms for years. Even after three years of daily use, the one I have is ticking along just as effectively as when it was new. It works for rooms up to 361 square feet, and it has an automatic mode that will ramp up or down to three power levels, depending on the air quality in the room. On its lowest setting, it\u2019s almost inaudible. Perfect for light sleepers in the bedroom.<\/p>\n

It comes with Google TV included, so you don\u2019t need<\/em> a separate streaming device to watch television over your internet connection. Capable of Dolby Vision and HDR, it also has Google Assistant baked in, so you can give it voice commands and leave the remote on the table.<\/p>\nFor Apple purists who enjoy being able to control their viewing through \u201cHey Siri\u201d voice commands, the Apple TV 4K (8\/10, WIRED Recommends) is the streaming box to get. This is the new 2021 second-generation model that has an improved voice remote.\u00a0<\/p>\n
TCL makes some of our favorite televisions. In fact, when somebody asks for a recommendation for best-value 4K TV, we point them right to this 55-inch QLED TCL. It comes with Roku, our favorite streaming service, built in. For the money, image quality is outstanding, and you won\u2019t find anything better unless you spend three times as much.<\/p>\n\n<\/p>\nRoku Streaming Stick 4K<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no hands-free voice control, but if you don\u2019t care about that, it snappily gives you an excellent TV interface that lets you access almost every major streaming service. It plugs into your TV\u2019s HDMI port. You can read more in our Best Streaming Devices guide.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve used Sanus mounts for years, and this one has been a favorite because it\u2019s easy to tilt upward or downward and side to side, or to extend, yet it also feels solid. After all, you don\u2019t want your precious TV depending on a piece of flimsy metal to keep it from crashing down. You can extend the FLT1 up to 5 inches from the wall or push it nearly flat against it to save room, and you can tilt it to get a better viewing angle from wherever you\u2019re sitting. It\u2019ll work with nearly all TVs that weigh 80 pounds or less and have screens measuring 32-70 inches.<\/p>\n
Get everyone in on the game. If you\u2019ve been puttering around with only the one stock Joy-Con controller that came with your Nintendo Switch, pick up another official Nintendo Joy-Con so you have a friend to beat in Super Mario Kart<\/em> and Super Smash Bros<\/em>. The Series 8 (8\/10, WIRED Recommends) adds automatic Crash Detection to get emergency responders to your location if you\u2019re unresponsive. It also has a skin temperature sensor that helps with tracking fertility and your period.<\/p>\n
Even though the A-series of Galaxy tablets is billed as the economical choice, the A8 offers some impressive, non-economical features, such as a metal case and Dolby Atmos speakers. This model has an upgraded 128 GB of storage with a 10.5-inch display.<\/p>\n
You can upgrade to a bigger, more powerful Android tablet for a little more. The Tab S7 Plus has an AMOLED screen for a much better viewing experience (brighter colors, deeper blacks), has a 120-Hz screen refresh rate that\u2019ll feel buttery smooth every time you interact with it, and has a fantastic quad-speaker system. You can do some work on it if you pair it with a keyboard and use Samsung\u2019s DeX mode. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<\/p>\nCanon Pixma TR4722<\/p>\n

This color printer also copies, scans, and faxes over Wi-Fi, and it uses widely available Canon Inkjet ink that you can find on Amazon or any major electronics retailer.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll last for 4.5 hours on a charge, which is low, and the included charging case offers another 24 hours. It pairs super quickly with Apple devices.<\/p>\n
Regardless of the laptop speakers a manufacturer brags about, they\u2019re going to sound tinny and small. Although these wireless Bluetooth speakers and 6.5-inch, 100-W subwoofer are hardly audiophile-grade equipment, they\u2019ll provide a significant sound quality upgrade for listening to music, watching movies, and playing video games.<\/p>\n
Even though our reviewer was skeptical when testing this speaker for his guide to the Best Bluetooth Speakers, he came away impressed because of its ability to make music sound good no matter where you place it in a room. Even outdoors on a covered patio, its three upward-firing drivers spread music around to create a full listening experience.<\/p>\n\n<\/p>\nSteelSeries Arctis Prime<\/p>\n

It\u2019s one of our favorites, due to its comfortable ear cups, sleek look, and quality sound. Essential for gaming, it also has a crystal-clear microphone.<\/p>\n
We called the Polk Signa S4 the best soundbar\/subwoofer combo in our guide to the Best Soundbars for Every Budget because it offers top-level Dolby Atmos sound for not a lot of money, and now it\u2019s even cheaper. \u00a0We also rated it a 7\/10 for its room-filling bass.<\/p>\n
