They will play in the return fixture at Accra Sports Stadium in an effort to avenge the defeat and advance.

Daniel Nii Adjei, known as Ga Mantse by Asante Kotoko supporters, spoke with sports writer Adamu Muftawu of Radio Gold Talk Sport about his experience at CAF competitions.

He participated in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage with the Asante Kotoko team, which was coached by Bashiru Hayford. During the 2008–2009 season, he was a part of a trio alongside Mark Sekyere and Jordan Opoku.

He joined TP Mazembe in 2012, and during his time there, he won the CAF Champions League in 2015, the CAF Confederation Cup in 2016 and 2017, and the CAF Super Cup in 2016. As a result, he is a specialist in the aforementioned competition.

Daniel Nii Adjei told Muftawu of Radio Gold, “The CAF competitions are not like playing in the normal league. Me I know on our local scene we take everything as a joke, even when we have not finished, we start celebrating that we’ve won. “

The dynamic midfielder emphasised Ghanaian clubs’ mentality in CAF championships, saying that both home and away matches must be competitive.

Daniel Nii Adjei explained, “Me I knew it would happen because when you go away to win 1-0 and when you come home you don’t prepare well and you start to jubilate, the one coming is serious because he is already down. And then in CAF [competitions], we don’t win by saying I’ve won away, no, you have to finish it. I will say in Ghana we are always jubilating without playing it. We always use our mouths to beat people, but football is not like that for me. I wasn’t surprised Kotoko went. “

Content created and supplied by: atspo.com (via Opera
News )

    , . , .
