Rapper Black Sherif has been nominated for an award in the 2022 MTV Europe Awards (MTV EMA) show.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Soja\u2019 hitmaker is nominated for the Best African Act award.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He is competing against three of Nigeria\u2019s stars, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr and Tems for the award. Also in the race are Tanzania\u2019s Zuchu and South Africa\u2019s Musa Keyss.<\/p>\n

This is Black Sherif\u2019s second international nomination in an award scheme. About a month ago he secured a spot in the 2022 BET Awards.<\/p>\n

He was nominated in the coveted Best International Flow category but he lost the award to France\u2019s Benjamin Epps.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the 2022 MTV EMA is expected to take place in D\u00fcsseldorf, Germany, at the multi-functional indoor arena PSD Bank Dome.<\/p>\n

Harry Styles leads the pack with seven nominations, including Best Artist, Best Song and Best Video. Following Styles with six nominations is Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n
