Chance The Rapper<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n American rap star, Chance The Rapper, has endorsed Afrochella, the biggest cultural festival in Ghana.<\/p>\n In a tweet on Sunday, he reaffirmed that he and his friends will be attending the festival this year.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are still going to Afrochella,\u201d\u00a0he tweeted.<\/p>\n The tweet has come in the wake of viral reports that organisers of America\u2019s Coachella have sued organisers of Afrochella regarding trademark infringement.<\/p>\n Goldenvoice, the organiser of\u00a0Coachella, claimed that Afrochella is \u201cintentionally trading on the goodwill\u201d of its 23-year-old festival. The lawsuit was filed in a California court on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.<\/p>\n Nonetheless, Afrochella is coming off as planned. It\u00a0is currently the biggest festival designed to highlight and elevate thrilling and thriving millennial talent from and within Africa.<\/p>\n It features a festive celebration of especially Ghanaian culture in the form of art & fashion installations, live paintings, the best of African cuisine and live performances.<\/p>\n The festival will take off\u00a0from December 28 and 29 with live performances from headline acts such as Stonebwoy, Burna Boy, KiDi, Gyakie,\u00a0Fireboy DML, Medikal, King Promise, Pheelz and Ayra Starr.<\/p>\n The rest include Kuame Eugene, Young Stunna and Daliwonga.<\/p>\n The road to Afrochella is already busy with a series of activities, including the hottest party at Attitude Beach in Johannesburg, South Africa on October 30, 2022.<\/p>\n Ghana\u2019s Stonebwoy and Gyakie as well as\u00a0South Africa\u2019s Focalistic are among the artistes to headline the party later this month.<\/p>\n Despite viral reports about the legal action,\u00a0Chance The Rapper has assured his followers of his presence at the festival because nothing will ruin the December excitement.<\/p>\n \n\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Chance The Rapper \u00a0 American rap star, Chance The Rapper, has endorsed Afrochella, the biggest cultural festival in Ghana.
