{"id":1221715,"date":"2022-10-11T18:12:20","date_gmt":"2022-10-11T18:12:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/10\/11\/gnpc-ghana-renews-mou-with-gambia-national-petroleum-company\/"},"modified":"2022-10-11T18:12:20","modified_gmt":"2022-10-11T18:12:20","slug":"gnpc-ghana-renews-mou-with-gambia-national-petroleum-company","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/10\/11\/gnpc-ghana-renews-mou-with-gambia-national-petroleum-company\/","title":{"rendered":"GNPC-Ghana renews MoU with Gambia National Petroleum Company\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Accra, Oct. 11, GNA \u2013 The Ghana National Petroleum Company (GNPC-Ghana) has renewed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in 2019 with the Gambia National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC-Gambia).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The MoU is to promote and intensify cooperation between the two countries in the oil and gas industry.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A statement issued in Accra said the MoU will run for three more years until 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mr Opoku Ahweneeh Danquah, Chief Executive Officer, of GNPC, said \u201cGNPC-Ghana is excited to share knowledge from its operations offshore and on-shore to enable GNPC-Gambia to begin its offshore and onshore operations on a sound footing.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Under the MoU, GNPC-Ghana will support GNPC-Gambia by providing technical capacity building in petroleum research, exploration and production techniques, information systems and data management.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The two parties will also share expertise, equipment, and personnel along the oil and gas value chain.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mr Yaya F.
