{"id":1221625,"date":"2022-10-11T17:05:12","date_gmt":"2022-10-11T17:05:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/10\/11\/american-singer-travis-greene-to-headline-adom-praiz-2022\/"},"modified":"2022-10-11T17:05:12","modified_gmt":"2022-10-11T17:05:12","slug":"american-singer-travis-greene-to-headline-adom-praiz-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/10\/11\/american-singer-travis-greene-to-headline-adom-praiz-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"American singer Travis Greene to headline Adom Praiz 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image_2022-10-11_130801683-696x467-1.png\" \/><\/p>\n<div id=\"article-text\">\n<p>Grammy-nominated American gospel singer\u00a0<strong>Travis Greene<\/strong>\u00a0has been billed as the headline artiste for Adom FM\u2019s annual concert, Adom Praiz 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The event is set to happen at the Perez Dome on November 4, 2022, with other renowned Ghanaian gospel musicians such as Diana Hamilton and Ohemaa Mercy.<\/p>\n<p>The list continues with Celestine Donkor, Perez , Jack Alolome and Edwin Dadson among other notable gospel maestros who are eager to shake up the auditorium.<\/p>\n<p>The headline artiste, Travis Montorius Kwaku Greene began his music career in 2007 with the release of\u00a0The More\u00a0via Greenelight Records.<\/p>\n<p>He has since released two\u00a0studio albums,\u00a0<em>Stretching Out<\/em>\u00a0in 2010,\u00a0<em>The Hill<\/em>\u00a0in 2015, and an\u00a0EP,\u00a0<em>Intentional<\/em>\u00a0in 2015. He also released his live-recorded third album,\u00a0<em>Crossover: Live From  City\u00a0<\/em>in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Greene\u2019s music has charted on the\u00a0<em>Billboard<\/em>\u00a0Top Gospel Albums\u00a0and the Top Gospel Songs charts, and he has been nominated for multiple awards, including five\u00a0Grammy Awards\u00a0and 13\u00a0Stellar Awards.<\/p>\n<p>Greene and his wife lead Forward City Church in\u00a0Columbia, South Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the official launch for the Adom Praiz show is scheduled to take place at Adom FM\u2019s Adom Live Worship show on Wednesday, October 12.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, this year\u2019s event will span two days, as Adom FM intends to give many budding gospel musicians the chance to showcase their talents at the Praiz festival on the first day, prior to the main show on November 4.<\/p>\n<p>The annual Adom Praiz concert, powered by Adom 106.3FM, has over the years seen some of the world\u2019s biggest music acts give off electrifying performances that have left lasting memories on patrons.<\/p>\n<p>The concert will this time have live patrons in the auditorium as the pandemic had the 2021 edition in virtual mode.<\/p>\n<p>The ticket prices for this year\u2019s event are GH\u20b5 150 for couples, and GH\u20b5 100 for singles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><script async defer src=\"https:\/\/platform.instagram.com\/en_US\/embeds.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/american-singer-travis-greene-to-headline-adom-praiz-2022\/\">Source<\/a> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grammy-nominated American gospel singer\u00a0Travis Greene\u00a0has been billed as the headline artiste for Adom FM\u2019s annual concert, Adom Praiz 2022.
